NCPTC Android Appointment Setup Guide

Step One: Disabling Lock Screen (Temporarily)

• Open Settings

• Navigate to Security > Lock Screen

• Set Lock Screen to "None"

• NOTE: This step is temporary. A lockscreen code can be enabled after the appointment.

Step Two: Disabling Play Protect

• Open the Google Play Store app

• Navigate to Menu > Play Protect

• Select the Settings gear in the top right corner

• Turn OFF "Scan Apps With Play Protect"

Step Three: Downloading Rescue Plus

• Open the Google Play Store app

• Select the "Search" button and enter "Rescue Plus"

• Install the application

Final Step: Enabling Accessibility

• Open the Settings app

• Navigate to Accessibility > Installed Apps > Rescue

• Toggle on the Rescue app
